Depart on this day from the U.S., cross the international date line in the air, and arrive in time for tomorrow's welcome dinner. If it fits within your timing and budget, we recommend leaving one day earlier, so that you can arrive the day before the welcome dinner. This reduced stress, allows for time to rest, and ensures you don't miss any tour activities due to flight delays. We'd be happy to book the additional hotel night for you at our tour hotel.
Your flight itinerary's final destination should be Kansai International Airport (KIX). In order to arrive in time for the Welcome Dinner, you should land in Osaka no later than 3:00 PM. If you fly into another airport, such as HND or NRT in Tokyo, you are responsible for arriving to the tour starting point on your own.
We will keep a base in Nara for the baseball portion of the trip, playing against and with local teams. We will also do sightseeing in the greater Kansai region.
We will attend a sumo show, a professional NPB game, and much more local sightseeing.
Your departure airport is Kansai International Airport (KIX). You can depart at any time. If you depart from another airport, such as Tokyo's HND or NRT, you are responsible for getting to the airport on your own.
