This was as much fun as one can have with your clothes on. Great games with great, engaged, passionate fans. Diego got us great seats for every game. The farewell dinner at the LG Twins restaurant was incredible.

The trip was a mix of positive and negative. The positives included the tour guides and the choice of hotels. The ability to use coin laundry in hotels is especially handy in Japan if you want to minimize the amount of luggage required and the location of the hotels made it easier to locate them after exploring cities and/or returning from games. The negatives include the ticket snafu in Sendai whereby I was missed when the game tickets were handed out (on the train) and I didn't receive mine until we were walking to the ballpark (a checklist could have prevented this). This may also have been related to the missing ticket(s) for that game that apparently occurred as well. The nine minute transfer window at Tokyo Station might have worked for a solo traveler but a group of about 30 people with luggage wasn't going to work. In my own travels in Japan I've always allowed myself at least 15 minutes for train transfers (with luggage). Some recommendations for future trips include leaving for games and new cities earlier (who sleeps on vacation anyway?). Purchasing game tickets where the seats are higher up but closer to home plate is also preferred when possible (Carp and Tigers are probably not possible, especially for a group). Highly recommending the use of smaller luggage to increase maneuverability and agility when traveling to/from trains, this is where the coin laundry comes in handy. Including maps of ballparks (e.g. concessions, points of interest) as links in the itinerary. Providing ballpark tours as options (I did this at Sapporo and enjoyed that) and also considering going to ni-gun ballparks.

Thank you for your feedback, Steve. Some very good advice and suggestions there. We apologize for the short transfer and also for you not receiving your ticket in time for the game in Sendai - we will take these into consideration for future planning. Appreciate you coming back with us!

What a great travel experience! Better baseball stadium tickets would be appreciated as an option if they were available. Happy to pay more to avoid seats with no backs.. Hard to enjoy the games when back is shouting at you. All-in-all an incredible life experience; Japan is a wonderful country to be able to immerse yourself in a more respectful, polite and LOUD/energetic baseball happening! WAY TO GO!! Thanks to all the tour guides and Shane’s ohana that’s passed down to the entire organization. Let’s do it again!

Thanks, Steve! We hear you on the seats. We do the best we can, but sometimes for group tickets we cannot get the optimal seats. Your feedback is noted and we will work on our process to improve seat locations.

We had a great first experience in Okinawa and NPB spring training! Trevor Raichura, was an excellent tour manager with a deep knowledge of Japanese baseball, great communication skills in both English and Japanese, and effective management of our tour group. The non-baseball destinations were interesting and fun, especially the awesome world-class aquarium. The local guide, Marie, was very friendly, knowlegeable and helpful, and the tour bus driver, Nao, was fun and very flexible and accommodating. The hotel in Chatan was excellent, with modern roomy rooms, and a great buffet breakfast, and very close to the American Village resort area. A few areas for improvement: we did run out of time on the last day and so was not able to visit the anticipated shopping district in Naha, so perhaps the cultural/historical site visit schedule could be improved, or an extra day added to the tour. Also, our first hotel in Nago had very tiny rooms, and felt almost like living on an airplane, and didn't have any restaurants, so we had to walk quite a distance to find good breakfast places (although the one we went to was excellent!). It was right next to a nice baseball stadium, but unfortunately no spring training games were included on the tour schedule; instead we had to bus to other stadiums which seemed like a waste of a nearby facility. But all in all, it was an enlightening and well-run tour with unique and fun non-baseball activities that enhanced our baseball experience. We had a great time, and we would highly recommend it to baseball and history enthusiasts!

Baseball was great. Food was great. Our guide, Trevor, was great. Extremely knowledgeable about NBP. Always helpful. Our driver, Noh, was an excellent driver, felt very secure with him in charge of the vehicle. Marie, our local guide was great for Okinawa culture questions. Fellow travellers were great, all friendly and baseball nutty. All but one had been on previous trips, some on many. That speaks highly for the quality of these tours. My one very minor complaint was our first hotel, Phoenix Park was not very good. Cramped rooms even by Japanese standards. Very little to do in the neighborhood other than walk to Family Mart. All in all best tour I have been on since ar least 1505.

Thanks, Craig! Appreciate the kind words. We tried a new hotel and area this year for part of the tour and thanks to your and other guest feedback we are not going to repeat that part next year!
